Here's another great one by Ron Paul. A couple of years ago he proposed a bill to abolish the federal reserve and no one in Congress paid it any attention. I think he realizes that Congress isn't ready yet for that kind of drastic change (even though we need it). This bill in conjunction with H.R. 1207 AUDIT THE FED would cause competition in currency and help to rid of us the Federal Reserve Monopoly that now runs the system.

I love it when a Congressman like Michele Bachmann says "Can you show me where in the Constitution...... "

This bill does just that. It's too bad that we should have to pass a bill requiring Congress to stick to the law, but here's one for the books, maybe it will get congress to read or memorize our Constitution and quit passing freedom killing laws.

H.R. 450 and S. 1319, "To require Congress to specify the source of authority under the United States Constitution for the enactment of laws, and for other purposes." "Each Act of Congress shall contain a concise and definite statement of the constitutional authority relied upon for the enactment of each portion of that Act. The failure to comply with this section shall give rise to a point of order in either House of Congress."

Tell your Congressman you would like them to co-sponsor these senate and house bills and then bring them to the floors for vote.

Rant on a Cut Throat Saving Agenda for America

I'm about to pull my hair out. During the 2008 election cycle I built this site with the intention of uniting the Republican party. Knowing that I was very conservative and the party had become very liberal. Not, that I'm a die hard Republican, I only became one so I could vote in the primaries. Personally, I think the 2 party system stinks. People should just vote for who they think will do the best job and who will stick the closest to the constitution. I saw Romney as a guiding light, because I knew he was one who really could reach across the isles and clean up Washington. He could see the problems and had the know how to solve our biggest issue- the economy. I'm praying the Romney runs again in 2012 and that he'll have the power of a united Republican Congress behind him (2010 elections) so we can actually get some things done. I would stand by Romney's platform which would include cutting spending, lowering taxes and sticking to the constitution. I wouldn't want to run for Public office, but if I did, I would love to see a cut throat agenda like the following:

- Abolish the IRS in institute a 10% FLAT TAX. (This tax would be our only federal tax, no SS, no Medicare, no anything else) Everyone pays 10% no matter your income level. Makes it easy. Imagine the time savings during tax season.
- Cut spending in 1/2 until the debt is paid off. I can think of plenty of unconstitutional agencies like the EPA that can be completely absolved. Most are unconstitutional anyway. The EPA wasn't even an act of congress, it was established by Nixon via an executive order, completely against the first article, section 1 of the Constitution.
- Abolish Social Security as we know it. Pay everyone, every cent they have paid into social security plus 6% interest and mandate that the money is put into personal retirement accounts.
- Get the Government out of Health Care and remove regulations. Establish health care clinics for the poor/ incapacitated in every major city where care can be given, but it's not comfortable. People need incentive to work hard for better opportunity.
- Abolish the Federal Welfare programs. What ever happened to local communities and churches taking care of their own? American's need to be able to do this for both moral and physical obligations. It's good for us to care for our own poor, not for the government to do it for us through a gigantic ever hungry bureaucracy.
- Get the government out of Education. Let the States handle what is rightfully ours.
- Get the US out of the UN. We don't need to be funding millions/people to an agency that threatens our very sovereignty. Incidently, Ron Paul just proposed this bill H.R.1146 : To end membership of the United States in the United Nations.
- Abolish the Federal Reserve and return to the common sense economic principles of free markets and dollars backed by items of intrinsic value such as gold or silver.
- Allow offshore drilling, drilling in ANWR, and the Shale of Rocky Mountains ........Imagine the jobs and money it could create!!!!!!!!! No more imported oil.
Anyway, I could probably go on, but my rant would drive me to my grave. One of my only insanity blockers is that of knowing that literally thousands of you are feeling the same things. I've met some wonderful, brilliant and very helpful people all across the country through this site. So, Thank you America for listening.

Let the Patriot Act Provisions Die

The Patriot Act has certain provisions that will be expiring tomorrow. We won't be getting back all of our rights because the National Securities Letter is not set to expire. However, if you haven't forgotten the unconstitutional intrusion of our 4th amendment rights, here's the minor gist of it.

The Records provision gives federal investigators access to all business, hospital and library records to search for “any tangible thing” of a terrorist suspect if there is a court order provided by a special federal court.
The Roving Wiretaps provision authorizes government tracking capabilities in the form of wiretapping without a name or specific target as a focus, which is sometimes labeled a “sneak and peek” method.
The Lone Wolf provision allows the use of secret surveillance for spying on non-Americans if they are suspected of terrorist activities not tied to any specific organization.

Obama recently said, “If there’s a blue pill and a red pill, and the blue pill is half the price of the red pill and works just as well, why not pay half price for the thing that’s going to make you well?”

Under falling approval polls and heathcare townhalls that American's are making their voices known, Obama is now trying a "BIPARTISAN COMPROMISE -Cooperatives" approach to his healthcare bill. Obama has made it known that he's all for a "Single-Payer" system or a Government controlled Healthcare System.

What HE'S SAYING and WHAT HE'S PLANNING are two different ideals. HE SAYS.....We can keep our health coverage if we like it, but we are all smart enough to know what happens when someone offers a service or item at little or no cost. It quickly forces out all competitors. Sooner or later we will be left with no choice at all, but the single-payer government option -HIS PLAN.

Do we need Healthcare Reform? Yes! Just not Obama's plan. We need Tort Reform and Caps on lawsuits, so the cost of liability insurance for doctors can go down and doctors can quit practicing defensive medicine. We need to improve medical record keeping and we need more competition in the healthcare insurance industry and allow insurers to offer policies across state lines. Reasons to Oppose H.R.3200

1. Look at the Government's Past History Record on Entitlement programs They would relieve an "F" if they were in school or would be out of business if they were in the private sector. You really want to trust the government to handle your healthcare after what you've seen they've done with SOCIAL SECURITY, MEDICARE, MEDICAID, and Medicare's Prescription Drug Coverage. That's like walking up to a RATTLESNAKE and saying, "I hope you don't bite me if I stick my hand out in front of you." Congress already has $53 TRILLION in unfunded liabilities with these entitlement programs, (check out the real time national debt here) and Obama says he "thinks" H.R.3200 will cost at least $1 trillion over the next ten years, but we all know that it will be much more than that. Besides.....what exactly is a trillion anyway?

We need to stop Cap and Trade H.R.2454 in the Senate before it's too late.

Wouldn't it be great to "CAP" the SIZE OF FEDERAL GOVERNMENT? How about taxing them for recklessly spending our hard earned tax dollars?

Losing More Sovereignty with LOST the UN "constitution of the seas"

Soon to be up for ratification in the Senate will be LOST. The UN Law of the Sea Treaty. It basically grants the UN CONTROL OF EVERYTHING UNDER, ON, and ABOVE the SEAS and OCEANS. We need to wake up and remove ourselves from our complacency. If LOST gets ratified, we will have lost more freedoms. We won't have veto power like in the UN Council, we'll only have 1 vote within 150 other nations.

Hillary Clinton has said that she will push this for ratification in January of this year. The banks/Illuminati/whatever will use Geithner’s welfare to buy back the crap the Fed’s welfare is buying from the banks

Right now, the Fed’s buying assets probably for about 20-60 cents on the dollar from the Banks (I’ll play along and call them “the Banks” in this column, even though they’re actually now all outright welfare institutions) like Citigroup (C), Bank of America (BAC) and Goldman Sachs (GS), Wells Fargo (WFC) and JP Morgan (JPM).

The Fed needs to get rid of those assets but since they’re overpaying even at 20-60 cents on the dollar, there’s nobody on the planet willing to buy the stuff right now. (if they weren’t overpaying for it at the levels they’re paying for it, then, by definition, there’d be a bid for those assets right now in the natural, free market). Thus, “there’s no market for this stuff right now.” Again, why would there be a market for this stuff if the only entity willing to buy this worthless junk at 20-60 cents on the dollar is the FED.

Moreover, since the Fed’s price for this stuff is, even overpaying, at a 40-80% markdown from where the banks still have the vast majority of this crap marked on their books, and since the Banks are still levered up 10x-20x, that means they’re still insolvent. So guess what – “there’s no market for this stuff right now”.

And guess what’s coming next –

The Treasury says they’re going to lend welfare dollars at artificially low rates to the Banks to buy this stuff back from the FED now. The Banks will likely pay the actual 5-10 cents on the dollar that this stuff is actually worth.

And in the end, if this plan works – the Banks keep the profits, and if the plan doesn’t work, the banks won’t pay back the welfare loans, so the losses are socialized anyway.

The upshot: The government uses welfare dollars to overpay for junk from the Banks, which then turn right around and borrow MORE welfare money so that they can underpay for that same junk, and if it all works out they keep the profits.

Want it to stop? Tell your reps. Tell ‘em to make the FED and Treasury come clean. Tell us what’s happening. Send them this article and ask them to explain in any way, shape or form how I am wrong. Be preemptive and join the fight. Write your local newspaper. Send them this article and ask them to ask your Congressperson to explain in writing how ANY of what I’ve written above is wrong

Here’s hoping I am. Wrong about how the banks/Illuminati/whatever will use Geithner’s welfare to buy back the crap the Fed’s welfare is buying from the banks. We all know I’m not though.

I was very young during the Carter Administration, but I remember the feeling that existed during the time. It was a feeling of desperation, uncertainty and hopelessness. I remember listening to my parents, who are republicans, arguing with my grandparents, who were democrats and wondering how our President could let things get so bad? My parents had tried to open a business but with soaring interests rates, increased taxes and the devaluation of the dollar, they were struggling to make it.

President Obama, I fear, is heading our country down this same path of economic destruction. There are some extreme conspiracy theorists who think he is doing this on purpose to impose a socialist agenda. I do not proscribe to those beliefs, I just think the guy seems to be clueless as to how to handle the economic mess and has surrounded himself with people as seemingly clueless as he his. Think about what he has done in just more than 50 days in office. True, he is faced with serious economic issues, but how will spending obscene amounts of money, that we will be borrowing from foreign countries with interest, solve the problem long term? Long-term, economists are concerned with the devaluation of the dollar and the Federal Reserve having to spike up interest rates to stave off double digit inflation. Wow, does that sound familiar? Weren't those the issues during the Carter Administration?

Let's have a little pop quiz called "Who Said It - Carter or Obama"... The answers are at the end of this article, so keep track of your guesses.

1. "I'm asking Congress to mandate, to require as a matter of law, that our nation's utility companies cut their massive use of oil by 50 percent within the next decade and switch to other fuels, especially coal, our most abundant energy source."

2. "And we'll invest in the technology that will allow us to use more coal, America's most abundant energy source..."

3. "Just as a similar synthetic rubber corporation helped us win World War II, so will we mobilize American determination and ability to win the energy war"

4. "I'll also extend the Production Tax Credit for five years to encourage the production of renewable energy like wind power, solar power, and geothermal energy."

5. "Our economy is in turmoil and our families are struggling with rising costs and falling incomes; with lost jobs and lost homes and lost faith in the American Dream."

6. "We've always had a faith that the days of our children would be better than our own. Our people are losing that faith, not only in government itself but in the ability as citizens to serve as the ultimate rulers and shapers of our democracy."

Bonus question - who said:

"These efforts will cost money, a lot of money, and that is why Congress must enact the windfall profits tax without delay. It will be money well spent. Unlike the billions of dollars that we ship to foreign countries to pay for foreign oil, these funds will be paid by Americans to Americans."

Isn't it interesting how similar their words, proposals and priorities are? Both Obama and Carter are classic idealists. I believe that both Presidents really believe in their policies. I am sure Carter thought he was going to broker lasting peace in the Middle East. I am also equally sure that Obama really believes that his budget and other economic proposals will have a positive effect on the economy, however, after looking to the economic failures of the Carter Administration, I can't see how his economic policies will ever succeed.

If Obama was only spending money in record amounts, I would be dubious about the economic future of our country, however Obama is doing even more to throw us back into the Carter era. I have previously written in detail about the Cap-and-Trade legislation that will drastically increase the costs of energy for all Americans. During the Carter Administration, we were in an energy crisis. The energy crisis in the 1970's compounded the economic woes our nation was experiencing.

President Carter increased taxes on "the wealthiest Americans", deja vu! Michael Barone, a columnist for U.S. News & World Report recalls the atmosphere of the times during Carter's administration when he wrote "In that environment, the animal spirits (Keynsian economic term) of the productive class were directed away from making productive investments and toward sheltering their income from seizure by the government. I remember rich men in locker rooms engaging in discussion along the lines of "my tax shelter is bigger than your tax shelter". To heck with figuring out whether your investment was going to be productive in the long term. The only question was how much money you could shelter from the tax collector in the short term. I think there is a serious risk that the Obama tax proposals are going to bring back those days."

The Obama Tax plan in conjunction with state taxes will increase the tax burden on those falling withing the upper tax brackets over 40% across the board. Michael Barone continued his concerns when he wrote, "Yes, they call for returning the high income tax rate only to the sweet spot of 39.6%. But they also want to reduce the amount of the mortgage interest and charitable deduction for high earners, which would channel less money to charities and more to the government (and thus to public employee unions and, through them, to the Democratic Party) and would raise the effective rate on high earners to above 40%"

The plan to increase taxes and decrease the deduction amounts on mortgage interest will deepen the real estate slow down adding to the number of foreclosures and the lending crisis. Decreasing the deduction on charitable donations will decrease the money being given to charity. This will increase the misery and hurt those in need. The people who seek help from charities will be turned away due to lack of funds. Americans are known for being the most generous people in the world. Is It really a good idea to decrease the deduction for charitable giving? Is that really "Change We Can Believe In?"

Still don't believe that Obama is the new Carter? Media Analyst and liberal leaning writer, Michael Wolff recently wrote, "It's instructive and humorous to remember that Carter ran a brilliant campaign that succeeded largely because his voice was new. Simple, direct, basic, human. And then, of course, he turned into a sad-sack twit... It is a telling indictment of his first 11 weeks in office that the comparison with Jimmy Carter, a one term liberal reformer was ultimately not up to the job, is no longer an absurdity."

The more I study the comparisons between Carter and Obama, the more I hope we have a Reagan waiting in the wings poised to win in 2012.

Oppose H.R. 875, the Food Safety Modernization Act of 2009

H.R. 875 To establish the Food Safety Administration within the Department of Health and Human Services to protect the public health by preventing food-borne illness, ensuring the safety of food, improving research on contaminants leading to food-borne illness, and improving security of food from intentional contamination, and for other purposes.

Sounds like a good needed piece of legislation meant to protect us from food contaminants right? WRONG. This piece of legislation will ultimately transfer powers of each state to govern it's local food production to the FED Government and creates another huge Bureaucracy that can even govern us as individuals.

For example: One of the "definitions" of a food production facility to be governed (included extensive record keeping and governmental inspections, screenings, etc.) defines a food production facility to be any........."any farm, ranch, orchard, vineyard, aquaculture facility, or confined animal-feeding operation"

Write Congress and tell them to Oppose this bill. Our individual states can handle the problems without complicating things worse by involving the FEDS.

Under present law, if union organizers can get at least 30% of employees in a company to sign petition cards requesting a union, then the National Labor Relations Board (NLR can authorize a secret-ballot election. If more than 50% of employees sign cards, then the labor union can try to unionize the employees without a secret-ballot vote. However, the employer has the right to ask for a secret-ballot election overseen by the NLRB, to confirm that the employees really want a union to bargain for them.

Under the EFCA rules, however, if more than 50% of employees were to sign union authorization cards, then the employer’s right to request a secret-ballot election would be taken away. A secret-ballot election could still take place, but only if the labor union were to agree to hold one. Of course, no labor union would want to run the risk of being rejected by secret ballot, after "convincing" a majority of workers into signing authorization cards. Hence, those who argue that the EFCA does not remove secret-ballot elections from the union organizing process are not being completely honest.

FEMA Independence Act of 2009 (Introduced in House)

H.R.1174 : To establish the Federal Emergency Management Agency as a cabinet-level independent agency in the executive branch, and for other purposes.

Here's a new kicker bill to get your teeth grinding. I don't know how many of you know how much power FEMA already has, but if our country was ever declared to be in a state of martial law, they can pretty much suspend the Constitution and take over. This bill would create an "ADMINISTRATOR" TO BE APPOINTED BY OBAMA and be directly under him. It allows for transfer of powers from all previous laws passed for FEMA etc. It's super scary. Read it for yourself.

H.R. 1174 seems harmless when you first read the text. It’s a bill that acts to reinstate FEMA as a full cabinet position. However, when combined with the history of FEMA's power and in conjunction with H.R. 645, we need to do everything we can to stop this bill and H.R. 645 from passing. H. R. 645 seeks to establish “National Security Centers”, again this sounds like a reasonable request on the surface, but what could these centers be used for?

FEMA and their immense authority was established by a series of Executive Orders which by-passed the approval of Congress. Below is a PARTIAL list of the Executive Orders and the power the orders transferred to FEMA:
·         EXECUTIVE ORDER 10990 allows the government to take over all modes of transportation and control of highways and seaports.
·         EXECUTIVE ORDER 10995 allows the government to seize and control the communication media.
·         EXECUTIVE ORDER 10997 allows the government to take over all electrical power, gas, petroleum, fuels and minerals.
·         EXECUTIVE ORDER 10998 allows the government to take over all food resources and farms.
·         EXECUTIVE ORDER 11000 allows the government to mobilize civilians into work brigades under government supervision.
·         EXECUTIVE ORDER 11001 allows the government to take over all health, education and welfare functions.
·         EXECUTIVE ORDER 11002 designates the Postmaster General to operate a national registration of all persons.
·         EXECUTIVE ORDER 11003 allows the government to take over all airports and aircraft, including commercial aircraft.
·         EXECUTIVE ORDER 11004 allows the Housing and Finance Authority to relocate communities, build new housing with public funds, designate areas to be abandoned, and establish new locations for populations.
·         EXECUTIVE ORDER 11005 allows the government to take over railroads, inland waterways and public storage facilities.
·         EXECUTIVE ORDER 11051 specifies the responsibility of the Office of Emergency Planning and gives authorization to put all Executive Orders into effect in times of increased international tensions and economic or financial crisis.
·         EXECUTIVE ORDER 11310 grants authority to the Department of Justice to enforce the plans set out in Executive Orders, to institute industrial support, to establish judicial and legislative liaison, to control all aliens, to operate penal and correctional institutions, and to advise and assist the President.
·         EXECUTIVE ORDER 11049 assigns emergency preparedness function to federal departments and agencies, consolidating 21 operative Executive Orders issued over a fifteen year period.
·         EXECUTIVE ORDER 11921 allows the Federal Emergency Preparedness Agency to develop plans to establish control over the mechanisms of production and distribution, of energy sources, wages, salaries, credit and the flow of money in U.S. financial institution in any undefined national emergency. It also provides that when a state of emergency is declared by the President, Congress cannot review the action for six months.
The Federal Emergency Management Agency has broad powers in every aspect of the nation. General Frank Salzedo, chief of FEMA's Civil Security Division stated in a 1983 conference that he saw FEMA's role as a "new frontier in the protection of individual and governmental leaders from assassination, and of civil and military installations from sabotage and/or attack, as well as prevention of dissident groups from gaining access to U.S. opinion, or a global audience in times of crisis."

We MUST contact our Representatives in Washington and fight against H.R. 1174 and H.R. 645. Right now FEMA is being managed by the Department of Homeland Security. H.R. 1174 gives Pres. Obama too much power. At any moment without any checks, President Obama could declare an emergency and authorize FEMA to take over the US without Congressional support. This is a frightening scenario. We would lose ALL CHECKS and BALANCES.

The departments and agencies to be funded in a single bill are: Agriculture, Commerce/State/Justice, Energy and Water, Financial Services, Department of Interior, Labor/HHS, Legislative Branch, Department of State/Foreign Ops, Transportation/HUD.  This bill would increase spending for the above by $32 billion, a whopping 8.3% over FY2008. That is the largest percentage increase in decades for discretionary spending in regular appropriations. Spending in the bill totals $1.048 trillion, or $410 billion in discretionary funding plus $637.5 billion in mandatory spending for entitlement programs, i.e. Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid. The bill provides money for practically all domestic agencies, programs, the State department, and for foreign aid. This spending is over and above the recently passed $787 billion stimulus plan and the $700 billion bailout for insolvent mega-banks that was passed last fall.

My mom asked me who in heck do we owe the money to anyway? China can't have that much money (and that's scary enough being that China is a communist country anyway). Who is it that our children are going to owe this massive debt to? Whomever controls the debt will ultimately control us, because we are in slavery to that entity. It's a great question that Rep. Ron Paul also wants answered. Is the FED RESERVE making it out of thin air?

Obama's Universal Government- Shall We Lose More Sovereignty?

I don't like to be a doom and gloom person, but as we head down the road of socialism under Obamanomics, I can't help but worry about losing our sovereignty. In Romney's CPAC 2009 speech he said the following,

"President Obama was awfully vague about some of his plans, but I think I heard him say that government is responsible for educating a child from birth—from birth—to its first job. Universal pre-school and universal college. And there were hints as well of universal health care and a universal service corps. It all sounds very appealing, until you realize that these plans mean universal government. That model has never worked anywhere in the world. America is great because our society is free and the power of government is limited by the Constitution. "

Universal government can ultimately lead to world government. You may remember during the Clinton Administration the whole push for our country to increase our power and influence in the United Nations. I used to think the whole thing was a conspiracy, but as time passes and the UN gains more control it is becoming more transparent that UN take over could very well be what is in store for our county. I know this sounds far fetched, and why should we worry about it now when we have current fish to fry right?

I think it starts a little at a time. American's wouldn't just give up freedoms so easily, but they might under the guise of UN acts that seem to be for the welfare of society. First, we would have to have a weakened economy to where the dollar may well be in site of collapse or complete devaluation for the American people to want to give into an organization that could step in and take over the whole financial system with the promise of everything getting better. Glenn Beck has the following illustration...video only takes a couple of minutes.

A move towards a total global bank or a UN form of currency for the world.

Second, they would have to strip the American people of their religious and family rights giving more control to the government or rather the UN.  The UN RIGHTS OF THE CHILD  CHARTER would be an excellent first step.

Third, they would have to disarm the American people. Obama has already hinted in this area during his campaign. Furthermore, during the Kennedy administration the State Department published the following document Freedom From War: The United States Program for General and Complete Disarmament IN a Peaceful World. (Also named Department of State Publication 7277). You can read it here . Or download a pdf here . It basically details how every country INCLUDING the UNITED STATES would gradually be disarmed and controlled by a new "United Nations Peace Force." President Kennedy in an address to the UN General Assembly on September 25th, 1961 presented the document and said this, "The program to be presented to this Assembly for general and complete disarmment under effective international control...would achieve, under the eyes of an international disarmament organization, a steady reduction in force, both nuclear and conventional, until it has abolished all armies and all weapon except those needed for internal order and new United Nations Peace Force."

Conspiracy theories seem more realistic now don't they? Romney stated in his CPAC 2009 Address that government's next move will be towards Universal Heath care and we must fight against this rigorously. Obama has announced more Government spending to come.  President Ronald Reagan said the following at his State of the Union Address February 18th, 1981. "Our national debt is approaching $1 Trillion. A few weeks ago, I called such a figure - a trillion dollars - incomprehensible. I've been trying to think of a way to illustrate how big it really is. The b est I could come up with is to say that a stack of $1,000 bills in your hand only four inches high would make you a millionaire. A trillion dollars would be a stack of $1,000 bills 67 miles high."

Keep up the fight. America will prevail. 48% of American's voted for McCain, and he was a liberal Republican. Imagine if we are able to get Romney in office 2012. I for one, shall keep up the fight!

Jefferson also said, "I think myself that we have more machinery of government than is necessary, too many parasites living on the labor of the industrious." Jefferson thought the government was too big during his time? What would he think of the US Government today? I don't think that he would be too pleased with the number of bureaucrats in Washington. I am positive that he would not approve of the duplicitous government agencies that suck up tax dollars and resources. Part of the problem with the US Economy, and even more specifically the States in the US that are now essentially bankrupt, is that there are far too many parasites living on the labor of the industrious. California is BANKRUPT and is seeking a bailout from the Federal Government. Why should the citizens of Utah be forced to send some of their tax dollars to California because of California's irresponsible spending? The time has come for all of us to be responsible for our choices and live within our means. California is the perfect example to analyze. The breadth and depth of the State Government has lead them to a $41.8 Billion budget deficit over the next two years. Spending has increased by 40% since the Governator took office. I am sure that Gov. Schwarzenegger had altruistic intentions, just like Pres. Obama and the Democrats on Capitol Hill, but it just doesn't work to spend and spend and increase the size and scope of government. Look at these facts about California:

California leads the nation on spending for government employees.
California spends twice as much per pupil than the national average and has seen no increase in results.
California spends $200 million per year on FREE college educations for illegal aliens.
Due to government regulations and business rules, California is the most expensive state in America to have a business. Businesses are leaving California in search for better markets.
California has the second highest income tax rates in all of America. And it is among the nation’s leaders in virtually every tax category possible- income taxes, business taxes, sales taxes, property taxes, taxes on real estate transactions, taxes on stock transactions, capital gains taxes, workers compensation taxes, the list is endless. (Increasing taxes does not guarantee solvency)
California has been given the lowest bond rating of every state in America.
California is increasing spending even as they are losing 144,000 citizens per year. This migration also reduces property
values and increases the economic woes for the state as a whole.
