Here's another great one by Ron Paul.   A couple of years ago he proposed a bill to abolish the federal reserve and no one in Congress paid it any attention.  I think he realizes that Congress isn't ready yet for that kind of drastic change (even though we need it).  This bill in conjunction with H.R. 1207  AUDIT THE FED would cause competition in currency and help to rid of us the Federal Reserve Monopoly that now runs the system.

H.R. 1207   Now has 317 cosponsors.  /bss/|">H.R.4248 the Competition in Currency Act only has 1, and has been sent to multiple committees.  Congress won't pay it any attention unless we as citizens write them and make a fuss......so have at em!
