Mitt is either added to the ticket or McCain gets none of my phone calling, walking the district or financial support. I would continue to encourage all Mitt Romney fans to withhold all support of John McCain until we know he has Mitt firmly ensconced as his Vice President. I for one have already turned in my ballot with Mitt's name written in for President.

I have sent to Senator McCain's campaign a form letter I got from this site. It's an excellent letter with reasons why Gov Mitt Romney should be on the ticket. A McCain-Romney ticket is the only way to unite the Republican Party. I am also withholding monetary donations to the RNC and to Senator McCain's campaign until Governor Mitt is offered the VP. Hopefully, he will accept. This country needs Mitt Romney. Senator McCain, do the 'right' thing! Mitt Romney for VP 2008

Everyone is correct! There are literally thousands and thousands of GOP "conservative" supporters chalping at the bit to support a McCain/Romney ticket! As I have said before, I'll say it again -- McCain's first true test of presidential leadership will be his selection for VP -- with the current economic sitation confronting all of us, it is truly a "no-brainer" to select the most qualified individual the can be president on "day one," AND someone who can provide McCain with proven economic leadership skills, (review the start and see the final economic outcome of the 2002 Winter Olympics; secondly, see the Massachusetts state budget before his inauguration and immediately thereafter -- his last day) from his days at Bain Capital, etc., whereby he has demonstrated throughout his adult life, finding economic solutions to challenging economic problems. (Hear of "Staples" Office Supply chain??) If McCain makes the most logical and prudent decision of selecting Romney, he wins! If not, he very well can loose!
