Is McCain's VP Slot Already Named for Romney?
Another BIG time executive backs McCain. Meg Whitman a previous leading supporter of Mitt Romney is now going to co-chair for McCain's campaign. With huge Romney supporters teaming up, Romney's interview on Hannity, and all the VP talk........can't help but wonder, if Romney for VP is already in the works

Great news Unite!
Things are looking better and better for Romney being on the ticket. It has gotten to the point that I will really be shocked if McCain doesn't pick him.

I think it's already a done deal! Romney seemed so energetic to take the primaries to the convention after Super Tuesday and then at CPAC, right after Super Tuesday, he drops out? It seems like a deal was forged. And I believe he accepted because McCain is only planning on running for one term.

I agree, Romney is smart. Every move he makes is calculated and strategic. 4 years as VP and a great change in the Economy would see him a sure win in 2012.

I certainly hope so but we should keep sending the emails and letters and telephone calls to the rNC and McCain Campaign - NO MTT - NO MONEY - NO MCCAIN. We CAN influence the outcome of this election

Has everyone seen the Newsmax link where Fred Barnes has written in the Weekly Standard that Gov. Romney is the ONLY logical choice for McCain's VP?? This was found on Newsmax link today, Sunday, March 16th.

Rebecca -- If the economy "tanks" even more, (which I hope it doesn't) however, the better the chances for Gov Romney to BE on the ticket with McCain. As FOX News Channel is fond of saying, "FAIR & BALANCED" will be the M+M (McCain + Mitt) With Gov Romney's inate ability to "Turnaround" underperforming businesses and not to forget the 2002 Winter Olympics (Salt Lake City) when you spend 20+ years in the private sector, and during those 20+ years you actually MAKE a SUCCESS of your financial wealth and leadership qualities that are in high demand, who else better to "fix" the economic problems that a person who has ACTUALLY "fixed" businesses, organizations, etc., that were on the brink of bankruptcy and/or disrepair. The only logical answer as Fred Barnes of the Weekly Standard wrote, was one person... Gov. Mitt Romney. Period. End of sentence. That says it all in my book!

Hi Frank
I read that news article by Barnes. I could not agree with Fred Barnes and you more!! I don't see how McCain would even consider anyone except Romney with the economy in the shape it is in.
Romney is absolutely the only logical choice. I have read many comments on websites about economy being a number one concern. Surely McCain knows this and will follow "the handwriting on the wall".
Go Mitt!!

I agree Frank. Although the challenges of the economy seem to be extensive: a credit crisis that is flowing to all parts of our monetary supply-chain: banks, government, businesses, and consumers causing the most significant level of consumer attitudes against a declining outlook. Mitt will certainly have his work cut out for him. But, I have every confidence that he is the right person for the job.

Hi everyone,
I just went to www.stoptheaclu.com and read an article supporting Romney for Vice President. There were 11 comments posted. 9 out of 11 were in support of Romney being Vice President. A very high percentage , don't you think?? (One comment was from our very own, David)
Of the 2 who did not support Romney for VP, one was an obvious Democrat, and one used broken English , which did not actually make sense, My guess would be an illegal immigrant. And we know that illegal immigrants do not like Romney because of his strong stand against illega immigration.
So, 9 out of 11 were pro-Romney.
Go Mitt!!!!
