President Bush favors Romney for McCain's Vice President

According to this article (Source Article by Fred Barnes ) http://www.weeklystandard.com/Content/Public/Articles/000/000/014/854gvvhu.asp?

"Romney has allies in the Bush wing of the Republican party. President Bush favors him as McCain's veep. Jeb Bush, the former Florida governor, preferred Romney over McCain in the primaries, but never endorsed him publicly. Karl Rove, the president's political strategist, has hinted that he considers Romney to be McCain's best running mate."

I think there are many out there that favor this ticket.  We just need to reach them, direct them to the site, and get everyone actively involved in helping this ticket become a reality.

I've organized the site with new pages to get involved including 10 ways we can promote Romney each week, and contact information for every state.  Check out the new buttons and links on www.unitethegop.com.

I really don't trust anything Huffington Post says. When was this stated. I'd like to know the sources of this. I would like to believe this, but Huffington Post is very unreliable.

Thanks Lucy, I will remember that for the future. I changed the article with the direct source of Fred Barnes article. See the new link. It's a much better article anyway.

Mitt Romney will be on FOX's "Hannity & Colmes" Tuesday, March 11th, 9pm ET.

Maybe he will be delivering the announcement we have all been praying for!

Also, Mitt Romney's website is back up and running, and has a new tab labeled
    "Announcements"!

Yes, I agree this is a much better piece. Fred Barnes is a smart guy. I wonder how he knows that the Bush's favor Romney.
I believe that "the Mormon thing" really did have an impacet. I hate to differ with him, but it has been my concern all along.
I'm astounded at the number of very ignorant and bigoted people I've run into since Romney's primary run.
People who don't know that I'm LDS (Mormon) just come out with the most bigoted, ignorant remarks. I can't resist (nicely) setting them straight on the facts and then stating that I'm LDS. They don't know what to say to me. They must believe that most all "Mormons" live in polygymist communities in Utah.
I do believe Romney is the best choice in spite of this issue. I still believe that there are enough intelligent and informed conservatives who will support him anyway. In a sense, this has been a big national education process on this religion. Some people will continue to be blind, but maybe, hopefully enough others will not.

    Hi everyone,
I went to the RNC website today, and there was an article stating that Bush has gained a lot of popularity with his decisions over the last several weeks, but it is not being reported by the MSM. . . big surprise!

Anyway, let's not forget, that even though it is McCain who picks his running mate as VP, he does have to consider the wishes of the RNC. So I wish EVERYONE who visits our website and supports Romney for VP would email them at info@gop.com and tell them that WE WANT ROMNEY.

I had emailed them before, but did it again today. However, I don't think it is wise for the same person to send a lot of emails, so I invite everyone to join me!!

I also emailed CPAC at cpac@conservative.org. I would love for everyone to email them also. Also;, your state and local Republican parties. Remember they all have clout when it comes to selecting the VP.
