3 Things I Learned Today at My County Assembly

I am an elected delegate in my state and attended my county assembly convention today. There were over 2,000 attendees. In my great state of Colorado, Romney took 60% of the vote.  The county chair announced that "Although he supported and campaigned for someone else previously, and then named MITT (which received a standing ovation and cheers, said he was here to now strongly support McCain (which received a light applause.) I talked with many people about the site and was amazed by one question in particular that came up.

1. The number one question people asked was, "People can still vote for Romney in the upcoming primaries?"
They honestly didn't know that voting for him still counts and that he is still on the ballot. We must educate others especially in states with upcoming primaries.

2. I realized I should  have come wearing a T-Shirt that said Support a McCain-Romney Ticket www.UnitetheGOP.com

3. I should have organized volunteers to hand out flyers or stickers at the door, like so many others were able to do.
