Rice says she will NOT be a Vice-Presidential Candidate**This leaves McCain only ONE real option to defeat the Democrats in November----ROMNEY!

Most of you know that my ideal ticket would have been a Romney-Rice ticket.  I felt that Rice would have been the only other viable Vice President possible to stand against either Hillary or Obama, or both for that matter.  Rice has stated in the article below that she will not be a Vice Presidential candidate.  I think this leaves McCain only 1 viable choice if he wants to win and unite the party.  Our Choice! He'll need Romney! Romney is the only other candidate with the support that McCain will need.

Hopefully, Steve Forbes, the billionaire publisher of Forbes Magazine, member of the National Republican Committee, and former Presidential candidate will not jump into this race. I don't know all of his stands on issues. But, it would seem to me that with Rice out, he would be a most formidable candidate against a potential McCain-Romney ticket. We should probably get some additional information on him for a clear-cut comparison.

Condi would make a great running mate. But, based on recent news, she apparently has no desire for politics as a voted candidate. She may have gotten her fill when she was presented for Secretary of State with the confirmation process of the legislature.
