McCain's military experience with Romney's Economics and Values is a smart team

United McCain’s military experience with Romney’s conservative values, integrity, and economic experience will surely pull our country out of the drain it’s leaking into.

I'll most likely be voting libertarian in the general election unless McCain has Romney as a running mate. Being in the military and a POW does not gaurantee a hero or a great president. As a former USMC infantryman, I'm very suspect of McCain's condemnation of waterboarding. Also, his liberal views and lack of self control/temper.

I agree about the military experience. I even hated before Romney pulled out that McCain kept wearing his "service" on his sleeve. There are hundred's of thousands of  good veterans out there, and just because you are a veteran doesn't make you the best candidate.  I was just trying to point out that, in the debates against the democrats all the bases will be covered.

The associated press has an article out giving their opinion on who the candidates may or may not pick for their VP- go to the link to see it on the Foxnews web site. It states that there has NOT been much speculation about a McCain-Romney ticket because "there appears to be no chemistry—and much acrimony—between the two men."

Hmmmm- could the Associated Press be trying to squelch this possible match up. I wonder.

I am a conservative Republican and a Romney supporter. I definitely would vote for a McCain-Romney ticket. I will have trouble voting McCain without Romney there, and have contemplated staying home if that is the choice I am left with.

I am voting Romney in this Tuesday's Maryland Republican primary. I urge Romney supporters in all the remaining primnaries/caucuses to still vote Romney so that he can pick up some more delegates prior to the convention. This will give Romney more leverage over McCain- not only to possible get onto the ticket, but also to affect McCain's platform.

Thanks so much for your comment!  I will not vote for McCain without Romney either.  I think McCain will do anything to win, including changing some of his stances to pick up Romney.  McCain has to realize that Romney's suspension was not only noble, but patriotic and the people can see that too....The same people that McCain needs to add to his side to have a chance to win. Spread the word about the site!

I just found this web site where a GOP strategist is saying that this match-up, McCain-Romney, has already been discussed between the two and may be in the works. Go to this link:

Listen to the audio as well.

Romney drew more financial support from outside sources (voters) than any other Republican candidate. This means that he has more support from voters than any other Republican candidate. The news media only spoke about his personal donations. McCain needs Romney's support.

I totally agree with eightball. People who still get to vote in their primary should still vote for Romney.

I think it is important that we let the Republican party see that we still want Romney. Did you see that Romney still won the CPAC straw poll, even after he suspended his campaign!!!

    We need Romney! Go Mitt!

Hi eightball, I went to the website, and it says that Romney's staff is denying that he is talking to McCain.

I think we all need to really pray about this, because I do NOT feel like I can vote for McCain without Romney.

The McCain/Romney ticket would be the best way to show conservatives that John McCain is truly listening to those that value conservative values. Mitt is the most eloquent speaker and has incredible business acumen. This ticket would get me (and masses of like minded voters) to RUN to the poles on election day and vote for this winning combination!!!!!
